My good people of Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, and Nigerians at home and in the diaspora,
On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire Kari Ebipade political family, I warmly felicitate with you on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
October 1st is a significant day in our national history. It reminds us of our journey as a people, our shared aspirations, our resilience in the face of challenges, and, most importantly, the strength we derive from standing together as one people and one nation.
As we commemorate this anniversary, let us reflect not only on where we have come from, but also on the Nigeria we desire to build for present and future generations. Our diversity remains one of our greatest strengths, and we must continue to embrace one another irrespective of tribe, religion, political affiliation, or background.
For us in Warri North, this celebration also offers an opportunity to reaffirm the values that have defined our people over the years: peace, courage, resilience, hard work, hospitality, and community spirit. Our communities are blessed with great potential, hardworking youths, dedicated women, experienced leaders, and elders whose wisdom remains invaluable to our collective progress.
Though our nation has faced various challenges on its path to development, I remain optimistic about the future. With unity, faith, patriotism, hard work, responsible leadership, and a genuine commitment to service, we can overcome the obstacles before us and build a Nigeria and Delta State that future generations will be proud of.
As we celebrate, I also urge us to remember that development is a collective responsibility. While government has its role to play, citizens, traditional institutions, community leaders, youths, women, professionals, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders must work together to create the peaceful and prosperous communities we desire.
As your candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Warri North Constituency II, in 2027 under the All Progressives Congress (APC), I remain committed to a new deal for our people anchored on quality representation, equal opportunity, youth empowerment, community development, inclusive leadership, and meaningful engagement with every ward and community in our constituency.
Our young people deserve opportunities to develop their talents, acquire useful skills, pursue meaningful careers, and contribute positively to society. Our communities deserve representation that listens, engages, and advocates for their legitimate needs. Our women deserve greater opportunities to participate in economic and community development, while our elders deserve respect and continued inclusion in matters concerning our collective future.
I believe politics should ultimately be about people, service, responsibility, and development. It should bring communities together rather than divide them. It should create opportunities rather than deepen inequality. Above all, it should strengthen the bond between the people and those entrusted with representing them.
Therefore, I call on our people across Warri North, at home and in the diaspora, to continue to embrace peace, remain law-abiding, and protect the unity and dignity of our communities. Let us reject violence, division, hatred, and actions capable of undermining the peace we have worked so hard to preserve.
As we celebrate Nigeria at 66, let us renew our hope and commitment to a better tomorrow. Let us continue to support one another, encourage our youths, empower our communities, and promote peaceful coexistence.
May the years ahead bring greater prosperity, improved opportunities, peace, and sustainable development to Warri North, Delta State, and Nigeria.
Once again, I wish you all a Happy 66th Independence Anniversary.
Long live Warri North Constituency II
Long live Delta State!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Signed:
High Chief Kari Ebipade
House of Assembly Candidate,
Warri North LGA Constituency II (APC), 2027
